Psychotherapy and Counselling Services

About Me

I am a Registered Counsellor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and a Certified Addictions-Informed Mental Health Professional. Based in Melbourne, I provide counselling and behaviour change programs for individuals, couples, youth, and adolescents. My services are available across Australia through face-to-face, phone, and secure online sessions.

My work is focused on supporting clients with a wide range of challenges, including anger management, Alcohol and drug addiction, behaviour change, developmental life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, and emotional distress. My goal is to help clients build clarity, resilience, and lasting positive change through a safe and compassionate therapeutic process.

My Approach

I offer evidence-based, client-centred therapy that integrates structured treatment planning, collaborative goal setting, and tailored interventions. My counselling practice is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and strong ethical values.

A key part of my work includes Cognitive Principle Therapy (CPT), considered a fourth wave of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This modern approach combines CBT principles with Erik Erikson’s psychosocial theory, allowing for deeper exploration of personal identity, life stages, and behaviour. CPT helps clients not only change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours but also address the underlying developmental and relational factors influencing their lives.

I also integrate other research-backed modalities, including:

  • Narrative Therapy – reshaping personal stories and perspectives

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – practical tools for thought and behaviour change

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – building psychological flexibility and resilience

  • Mindfulness and Trauma-Informed Practices – fostering awareness, safety, and self-regulation

This holistic approach ensures therapy is personalised to meet each client’s unique needs.

Specialisations

Anger Management

I provide structured anger management counselling and courses designed to help clients recognise triggers, regulate emotions, and develop constructive coping strategies. For clients facing court requirements, our anger management course comes with a court-approved certificate upon completion, demonstrating a proactive commitment to change.

Drug and Alcohol Addiction

I specialise in supporting clients with alcohol and drug-related challenges. My approach focuses on both the immediate behaviours associated with addiction and the deeper emotional and relational drivers. Whether through individual counselling or structured programs, clients learn recovery skills, relapse prevention strategies, and healthier ways to cope with stress and emotional pain. Court-approved certificates are also available for the Alcohol and drug addiction awareness course completed through our website.

Behaviour Change Programs

We also offer an abridged behaviour change course that addresses domestic violence, codependency, substance use, and anger-related issues. This program is primarily educational and aimed at raising awareness. These abridged programs are designed to meet legal and therapeutic requirements and can be completed online, face-to-face, or in combination with therapy sessions.

Relationship and Couples Therapy

I support couples facing challenges such as communication breakdowns, conflict, betrayal, or emotional distance. I am trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), one of the most evidence-based approaches to relationship repair and growth. Therapy equips couples with skills for constructive dialogue, emotional regulation, and rebuilding intimacy.

Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression

In addition to structured programs, many clients choose to engage in open-ended counselling. The clients seek therapy to address developmental life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, anxiety, stress, or depression. Therapy sessions provide ongoing support and trauma-informed care that helps clients feel safe, supported, and empowered as they work toward recovery. Open-ended counselling allows us to explore issues at a deeper pace, giving you the space to process, heal, build long-term resilience, manage symptoms, and create healthier patterns for the future.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower clients with tools for long-term growth — whether it’s overcoming addiction, managing anger, navigating behaviour change and life transitions or building healthier relationships.

"In our therapeutic journey together, I honor the individuality of each person and the unique dynamics of every couple. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you're seeking personal growth or striving to strengthen your relationship, I am here to support you towards a more fulfilling and harmonious life.
Together, we can transform challenges into opportunities for growth, healing, and lasting positive change."
